This is Number 75 - Mirror, in my 100 themes challenge.
Wow, I don't actually know what I've just drawn It started off as a normal cat picture, referenced from a cat breed book (by the way, I absolutely adore Siamese cats!), then I added the reflection, then started playing around with the different colours and all of a sudden I decided to add some weird glowy gems everywhere.. I was gonna get rid of them, but I think they suit the image in some way.
It was supposed to be sort of a really quick drawing to be honest, just to get away from drawing horses for a while. Oh and Photoshop decided to mess up completely towards the end, which meant I sort of rushed it to get out of that buggy program!
Hope you like it ~ and let your imagination decide the meaning of this image

Thanks! I think adding all the smaller details is what I really enjoy in a painting I'm not the sort of person who can work for ages on the same things over and over or a big area which is all going to look the same, but I prefer adding little details that makes the whole painting more interesting
Stunning work! I adore the way you draw, it's so realistic! I'm not a real cat-lover but after I've seen your pic.. I became quite interested in those funny creatures and btw. I loooove that charm on his tail and the gems on his head! And the reflection is nice done aswel.. I can make a longer list about al the amazing things in this picture if you want but in one word: stunning
Aww thank you Haha, I just love kitties so much that I couldn't resist drawing one And Siameses are one of the most magical and elegant looking cats of all (I think at least) so he/she fit in quite well with all the gems and sparkles
