ARTIST'S COMMENTS
A Christmas present for my brother in Thailand. Many of the photos he's taken from there look so magical and unnatural that he and my mum have sometime commented that it almost looks as if a unicorn could suddenly appear from beneath the water. So now one does, though maybe not from the water
I finally found an excuse to base a drawing on a particular selection of photos I took from the horse show back in Summer. I was lucky enough to spot a beautiful Friesian horse who unfortunately was too nervous by the crowd and just kept rearing/bucking. Funny thing is that the owner said he's a people-lover and would never harm a fly, so I think they were just as surprised by his behaviour as I was.
