Tutorial for Dappled Grey Horse (Equine Coat Variation)
ARTIST'S COMMENTS
This tutorial was made using Photoshop CS2, but any other version of the same program will work just as well. Other programs such as Corel PAinter or GIMP should have similar brushes as to those used here.
I finally decided to make a tutorial (even though it was not one that I had planned to do)! I had so much fun drawing the dapples on my character Sierra, that I decided to make a tutorial about of it. I don't know if anyone will find it useful, but it was fun just designing the tutorial breef itself.
It is not a great or detailed tutorial, and I'm sure there are better ones out there, but please do not repost it anywhere. Also, I would be very happy to know if it's been useful or helpful to anyone! You don't have to credit me if you use it, but it would be nice. Links of work where you've used it would be appreciated too, but not necessary
hmm, I selected the same looking brush that you selected, but somehow it looks different when I try to make dapples with it -.-' I use photoshop elements, which should almost be the same....
